5月1日是中国的法定节假日，国际劳动节。国际劳动节又称为五一国际劳动节。通常被称为“五一”，是国际劳工运动推动的劳动者和工人阶级的庆祝活动，每年都在五一（5月1日）举行。这是全世界劳动人民的节日。
Dear international students：
May 1st is the International Workers' Day, which is one of the national holidays of China. It is also known as Workers' Day or Labour Day in some countries and often referred to as May Day. It is a celebration every year on May Day (May 1st) by labourer and the working classes from the international labour movement. It is the holiday of the working people of all over the world.
学院于5月1日至5月3日放假，5月4日开始恢复上课。疫情尚未完全结束，希望同学们继续做好防护，注意安全。
The holiday is from May 1st to 3rd, and the course schedule will continue from May 4th. The pandemic is not over yet, so please continue with the necessary protection and stay safe.
