在新型冠状病毒感染肺炎疫情防控工作期间，国际教育学院采取每日线上工作例会制度，严格执行报送机制；要求全院教职工24小时电话畅通，主动作为，勇于担当，随时听候上级指示，安排公寓管理员24小时至少双岗值班；积极开展国际学生管理工作，主动摸排掌握国际学生动态，加强心理疏导，缓解学生心理压力；在微信公众号、学生微信群及时发布官方消息、措施，传递正能量；校医院为国际学生公寓配备了红外体温测量仪，为每个学生配备了水银温度计、口罩、消毒液等防疫物品，并坚持每日为留校国际学生测量体温；安排任课教师进行线上教学，保证国际学生停课不停学，不断加强中文和专业学习；在财务处和后勤的大力支持下，学院每周向国际学生慰问1次，为国际学生们提供足量的西红柿、土豆、胡萝卜、洋葱、鸡蛋、牛奶、面粉、大米、食用油、水果等生活物资。
During the prevention and control of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus infection, the School of International Education (SIE) has adopted a daily online work conference system and strictly implemented the reporting mechanism. SIE requires all teaching staff to keep 24-hour telephone access, make the initiative, take the responsibility, and follow the instructions of their superiors at any time, and arranges the apartment administrator to keep two staff members on duty at least in the 24 hours. SIE carries out the management work of the international students actively, takes the initiative to master the dynamic condition of the international students, strengthens the psychological guidance, and tries the best to alleviate the students' psychological stress. SIE releases official news and measures timely on the WeChat public account and the students’ WeChat group to deliver positive energy. The university hospital provides adequate daily epidemic prevention items in the international student apartments, such as infrared thermometers, masks, disinfectants, gloves, shoe covers etc. SIE keeps the daily temperature measurement for international students staying on campus. SIE arranges teachers to conduct online teaching to ensure that international students do not stop class courses but continue to strengthen Chinese and professional learning. With the strong support of the Financial Department and the Logistics Department, SIE sends condolences to international students once a week to provide sufficient living materials such as tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, onions, eggs, milk, flour, rice, edible oil, fruits, etc.
国际学生们严格遵守政府和学校的规定，严格执行公寓封闭管理的要求，保证在校不离汉、在宿舍不外出，不聚会，不举办和参与集中性活动，避免出入人流集中的区域。戴口罩、勤洗手、勤消毒，住所常通风，日常多喝水，饮食清淡，进行合理的体育锻炼。学习方面，不但积极参加线上教学活动，而且通过孔子学院、HSK Online、中国大学MOOC、Ace Chinese、Learn Chinese、Hello Chinese等免费的学习平台自主学习，不断提高自己的中文和专业水平。
International students should strictly abide by the regulations of the government and the school, strictly fulfill the requirements of the closed management of apartments, ensure that they will not leave from Wuhan but stay in dormitories, not go out, not attend parties, not hold and participate in centralized activities, and avoid entering and leaving the areas where people are concentrated. The students should wear masks, wash hands and disinfect dorms frequently, and often ventilate the apartment rooms . They should drink more water every day, eat light food and exercise reasonably. In terms of learning, international students should not only actively participate in online teaching activities, but also learn independently through free learning platforms such as Confucius Institute, HSK online, MOOC of China University, ACE Chinese, Learn Chinese and Hello Chinese so as to constantly improve their Chinese and professional level.
